Dr. Subathra Devi R is a rising medical professional specializing in cardiovascular care, currently based at the prestigious Apollo Hospitals (Greams Road, Chennai).She holds a specialization in DNB Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTVS). At Apollo’s flagship hospital, she actively manages critical cardiac cases and coordinates advanced operative interventions alongside some of the country’s leading heart surgeons.Before committing to the highly demanding field of cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Subathra built a diverse clinical foundation. Her earlier medical career includes serving as a Gynecology Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at the Paalana Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala. She also dedicated time to academic medicine, supporting the development of clinical content for Marrow, one of India's premier educational platforms for postgraduate medical aspirants.Driven by an interest in precision medicine, she actively contributes to clinical research. She has co-authored notable studies on postoperative cardiac care, specifically exploring pharmacogenetic-guided therapies for valve-replacement patients.
